Official Rules: Ashley Furniture HomeStore $25,000 Sofa Shot
No purchase necessary to win. Sweepstakes open to residents of Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, 18 years of age or older, except employees and immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) of Ashley Furniture Homestore, Memphis Grizzlies, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliations, directors, owners, employees, and agents.
To participate in the contest, contestants must visit one of four Ashley Furniture Homestore locations and complete an official contest entry form or enter online at grizzlies.com. Deadline for registration is March 15, 2009. You may enter by completing an official entry blank at any of the 5 Memphis Area Ashley Furniture Homestore locations. All entries must be deposited in an official entry box during the Promotional Period. Failure of an entrant to provide a valid and/or legible telephone number or a telephone number without an answering machine or service to leave a message will result in immediate disqualification. All entries received that are mutilated, tampered with, and illegible or from ineligible entrants will be void. All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsors are not responsible for any entries, which are not completely deposited with the official entry box. Incomplete entries may be disqualified at the Sponsors sole discretion. Only official entry blanks are eligible (no mechanical reproductions will be accepted). All entries must be deposited in the official contest entry box located at the 5 Memphis Area Ashley Furniture Homestore locations during their regular business hours. Any finalists who fail to register by the designated time will be automatically disqualified. All qualifiers are required to sign a release form relieving the Sponsors from any and all liability with respect to participation in this contest and/or the receipt and/or use of the prize during the registration process, an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release. Refusal to sign this release will result in automatic disqualification. Entry into this contest constitutes agreement by contestant to abide by these rules.
Ashley Furniture Homestore Sofa Shot will be held at seven (7) Memphis Grizzlies Home games in 2008-2009. Dates of the contest are December 12th, December 22nd, January 6th, January 31st, March 21st, April 3rd, and April 15th. During the first 6 shot contests, contestants will be shooting for gift certificate(s) for Ashley Furniture Homestore. Contestant has 24 seconds to shot from sofa and will win $100 per shot made. The contestant that makes the most baskets in the first 6 shot contests will return April 15, 2009 for a shot at $25,000 in Ashley Furniture. Prize winners will be chosen in a random drawing on or about two (2) weeks before each game and will be notified by phone. Contestants chosen are not allowed to transfer dates or names. In the event the winner cannot be contacted or declines the prize, a new winner will be drawn. All decisions on eligibility, availability of winners and other aspects of contest shall be made solely by Ashley Furniture Homestore and such decisions are final. Participating contest winners will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability. The winning prize is non-transferable to any other person, including relatives or friends. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and any expenses associated with the game, unless otherwise indicated. No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of prize permitted.
By entering, entrant agrees to follow the Official Rules and hold harmless and indemnify Ashley Homestore Furniture, Memphis Grizzlies, and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either entrant’s participation; or the receipt use of the prizes awarded in the promotion. In consideration for being awarded the prize, winner hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of winner’s name and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by Ashley Furniture Homestores, Inc., Memphis Grizzlies and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates. Contest void where prohibited.
