1. To Enter: Complete the official entry form and place it in the special receptacle provided at the Grizzlies game. You can also register online at http://www.nba.com/grizzlies. Entries must be received from Friday, February 1, 2008 through 11:59 pm Sunday, March 30, 2008. Only properly completed entry forms will be accepted. Limit one (1) entry per person. No mechanically reproduced or photocopied entries will be accepted. The Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, incomplete, or incorrect entries. Entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be returned.
2. Prize Details: Winner has the choice of three (3) Western Caribbean Carnival Fantasy Cruises for two (2): a 4-day cruise Thursday, April 24, 2008 through Monday, April 28, 2008 OR 5-day cruise Saturday, September 20 through Wednesday, September 26, 2008 OR a 5-day cruise Monday, September 29, 2008 through Saturday, October 4, 2008. All cruises will depart from and arrive back to New Orleans, LA. Prize is not redeemable for cash. No substitutions for prize can be made. Any applicable income taxes on a prize are solely the responsibility of the winner. The Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the featured prize becomes unavailable. All prize values are in U.S. currency. No travel expenses are included in this prize.
3. Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. A purchase will not improve your chance of winning.
4. Drawing and Awarding of Prize: The winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries. The drawing will take place at 191 Beale Street, Memphis, TN 38103 on or about Monday, March 31, 2008. Drawing and awarding the prize will be conducted by Memphis Grizzlies whose decisions on all matters relating to this contest are final. Prize winner will be notified after the drawing using the contact information supplied on the entry form. Winner must sign the required Winner Affidavit and Prize Release (the winner’s guest, if applicable, will also be required to sign a Prize Release on the same date). Except where prohibited by law (specifically Tennessee), execution of the Winner Affidavit and Prize Release by the winner (and guest, if applicable) constitutes permission to use a winner’s name, hometown, likeness, video image, and recorded voice for publicity without additional compensation. In the event that a winner is not eligible or fails to accept the prize by the specified date and time and, therefore, forfeits the prize, the Sponsors shall have the option to award the prize to an alternate winner. In the event that an alternate winner is not eligible or fails to accept prize before 6:00 pm on March 31, 2008, the Sponsors may use or award the prize in any manner it deems fit. Void where prohibited or as restricted by law.
5. List of Winners: You may request the name of the winners (available after March 2008) by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Sarah Logan, Memphis Grizzlies, 191 Beale Street, Memphis, TN 38103.
6. Eligibility: This contest is open to legal Tennessee and Mississippi residents 18 years of age or older, born on or after February 1, 1990. You must be 25 years or older to travel on the cruise. If you over the age of 18 but under the age of 25, on or before February 1, 2008, you must be accompanied by someone age 25 or older, on or before February 1, 2008, to be eligible to travel. The cruise lines do not allow travel on their ships unless you are 25 or older. Employees of the Sponsors, the Memphis Grizzlies, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents, their affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, and advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family and households of each, including spouses, parents, and children, are not eligible. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited. The Sponsors and their affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors and advertising and promotion agencies, are not responsible for printing, distribution or production errors and may rescind, cancel, or revoke this drawing based on such error without liability and at its sole discretion. This contest may be terminated by the Sponsors without liability and at its sole discretion in the event of data corruption or a computer virus.
7. Winner Liability Release: Winner and his/her guests by accepting the prize agrees to and hereby do release, discharge and hold harmless the Sponsors, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from and against any property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of any prize while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to or from any prize-related activity including personal injuries sustained while attending or traveling for the prize-related event. Winner and his/her guest will be required to sign a liability release.
By entering, entrant also agrees to follow the Official Rules and hold harmless and indemnify Sponsors, and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrants participation; or (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion. In consideration for being awarded the prize and except where prohibited by law, (specifically Trennessee) winner hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of winner’s name and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by Sponsors, and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates.
