The Memphis Grizzlies are committed to working with Mid-South communities to generate a positive impact by supporting registered charities in the region through its Donations-In-Kind program.

Policies and Procedures

How to submit a Donation Request

The following eligibility criteria must be met and application information must be submitted as specified below:

Eligibility

  • All requests for autographed memorabilia are limited to auction and/or raffle activities designed to raise funds for registered charities in the Memphis, Shelby County, and Mid-South area. Preference is given to charities which serve youth where the funds go directly to those in need.
  • Organization must have 501 (c)(3) status. Please include your non-profit certification number with your request.
  • Due to the overwhelming amount of requests, memorabilia is limited to one request per organization during the Memphis Grizzlies fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
  • Requests from non-profit associations fundraising for operating expenses will not be considered.

How to apply

  • All requests must be typed and submitted on your organization’s letterhead. The Grizzlies Charitable Review Committee will respond to your request via email, so please include a valid email address on your request letter.
  • Please state the nature of the event, the date of the event, and how the funds will be used.
  • Requests must be submitted at least six (6) weeks prior to the date of the event for which the donation is needed.
  • Incomplete or late requests will not be considered.

Processing your request

  • The Grizzlies Charitable Review Committee will make every effort to process your request at least two weeks prior to your event.
  • Please do not inquire by phone (due to the high volume of requests received).
  • All decisions made by the Grizzlies Charitable Review Committee are final. Donation follow-up
  • Organizations receiving a donation from the Memphis Grizzlies should submit a follow-up form (which will be enclosed in your package). Please specify the amount raised by our donation and the total amount raised through the fundraising event.
  • Follow-up forms should be submitted to the Charitable Donations Review Coordinator at the above address within two weeks (or 14 days) of your fundraising event.
