3. Gasol on First Postseason WinPau Gasol on winning his first NBA playoff game, after the L.A. Lakers defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the First Round 128-114 to the Los Angeles Times:
"Oh man, it was more than a monkey. It was huge. It was a burden. It followed me everywhere. It was more like an orangutan. I got the orangutan off my back."

4. Hedo on Game-Deciding ShotHedo Turkoglu on missing the final shot in Game 4 of the Conference Semi Finals against Detroit, after having a hot hand throughout the fourth quarter to Florida Today:

5. Parker on Game 7 JumperTony Parker on hitting a jumper that put San Antonio up for good in Game 7 of the Conference Semi Finals series against the Hornets, to the San Antonio Express-News:
“I just saw (Tyson) Chandler dropping down, like Phoenix was doing with Shaq (O’Neal). So I knew they were not going to let me penetrate. knew if I just took my time — the last two shots I took I rushed it a little bit, and they went in and out — I could knock it down, and that’s what I did.”
 6. Horford on First Postseason WinAl Horford on grabbing his first postseason win in the First Round series against the Celtics, to the Boston Globe:
"It was an emotional game. They've been talking since Game 1 and we've been talking back. And, this time, we came out on top."
 The First Round series went to seven games. Boston won Game 7 on its home floor.

7. Dirk on Coming up ShortDirk Nowitzki on falling into an 0-2 hole in the First Round of the postseason against the New Orleans Hornets to Hornets Courtside Live:
“It’s a disappointing loss. After the first game, we definitely wanted to get this one. We just didn’t go for it. 9. Nash on Still Being in it to Win itSteve Nash on looking ahead in the First Round series against the Spurs, after winning Game 4 to the East Valley Tribune:
“There’s a lot of ‘woulda-coulda-shoulda,’ but we’re still alive. We played well in San Antonio and haven’t gotten a win yet, so we want to go down there with a very optimistic attitude.  The Spurs led the Series 3-1, following Game 4.

10. Boozer on Okur's Two Big ShotsCarlos Boozer on teammate Mehmet Okur, who hit two crucial shots in overtime to help the Jazz defeat the Lakers in Game 4 123-115, to the Desert News:
"He did hit two really, really big shots for us in overtime, but Memo's been doing that his whole career in Utah. That's why we call him 'Money Man."'
