As the mascot for his favorite team for the last ten seasons, Sly has become a staple of the Nets’ entertainment experience. From his daring stunts and acrobatic dunks to his hilarious on-court skits and video skits, Sly has proven to be fan favorite. He energizes the Nets’ crowd like no other fox can, and he always gives his team a home court advantage.

Sly has performed all over the country at high profile events such as the NBA Draft and has been selected for the NBA All-Star Game four times. He has performed internationally in countries such as Mexico, Taiwan, the Philippines, Italy, Japan, and China.

Sly also has performed with numerous celebrities throughout his ten seasons - from sports greats such as Magic Johnson (NBA), Dan Marino (NFL), Shannon Sharp (NFL), Boomer Esiason (NFL), Carl Edwards (NASCAR), Kenny Anderson (NFL), Kerri Walsh (AVP), and Misty May (AVP) to film and TV stars such as Penny Marshall (Lavern & Shirly), Bob Denver (Gilligan’s Island), Dawn Wells (Gilligan’s Island), and Steve Schirripa (The Sopranos).

Sly’s greatest love, other than performing at Nets games, is being out in the community. With programs such as Sly’s Summer Reading Program and Sly’s Reading Rocks School Program, he can always be found somewhere in the tri-state area enlightening his fans on the importance of reading and education.
