DAY 3
This was by far the most intense day of the Training Camp, as the campers realized that this was the last day to make an impression on the Coaching Staff, and secure a berth on the Jr. All-Star Team. Day 3 was also structured so that each camper had the freedom to show off their various skills.

The day started with a brief Orientation and some word of encouragement from Coaches Frank and Norman. The basic message was that the campers should keep working hard regardless of whether or not they are selected to the All-Star Team, and that having been selected to participate in this camp in the first place is proof of their success. He wished the campers luck, not only in their pursuit of basketball success, but also in their personal and academic lives. Coach Norman re-emphasized the STAR values as the main reason the campers were selected to this camp and that they should always keep STAR in mind long after this camp is over.

The campers left the Orientation in good spirits, and were ready to give their all. The coaching staff took them through a series of warm-up and stretching drills. After this, the campers were divided into two teams. They were then taught a drill in which groups of three would run down the court and shoot, then get back on defense as the next group of three ran a fast break. The goal was to execute a proper fast break and score as many times as possible. Competition between the two groups was intense but fun, with the losing group having to do push-ups at the end of the activity.

As the players were now warmed-up, the Coaches then had the campers scrimmage against each other. It was a chance for the campers to showcase their total skills in a team setting. National Team Coach Chot Reyes was present and helped evaluate the campers during the games, and his comments were helpful in selecting the All-Star Team.

At the end of the scrimmages, the Coaching Staff gathered one final time to discuss the All-Star Team selection. It was a challenging process as there were at least 10 boys that stood out. At the end, the staff agreed on the six that will be named to the Team.

The Coaching Staff gathered all the campers onto Center Court and presented each with a medal, a certificate, and an NBA gift pack Afterwards, Coach Norman then announced the 6 Jr. NBA All-Stars. Finally, group photos were taken and interviews of the coaches, the All-Stars, and the parents were conducted by several media present. Many campers said that this camp was unique in the way it not only taught proper basketball skills and drills, but the way it introduced other aspects not usually found in basketball camps: STAR values, nutrition and health, a US-based coach. Finally, many mentioned the best thing about the experience was the friendship and camaraderie they developed among boys from other schools, even schools that were traditional rivals.

DAY 4
Three members of the Jr. NBA All-Star Team were introduced for the first time to the general public in a live interview on the ANC New Channel. Together with Coach Frank Lopez and Carlo Singson from NBA Asia, the boys talked about their experience. Coach Frank and Carlo talked about the program and the principles behind its creation and introduction in the Philippines.

In the afternoon, Coach Frank, together with several local Jr. NBA coaches, conducted a clinic for underprivileged children in Quirino Village in Quezon City under NBA Cares. The kids, ages 9-14, were very excited at the opportunity to attend a basketball clinic as most had never done so before. Despite the stifling heat, the kids and their families were very grateful for the opportunity to learn under Coach Frank and the other coaches. The coaches were also very happy to give their time to helping teach the kids.
