The NBA World View: Western Conference First Round, L.A. Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors

One Thing I'm Looking Forward To Most...

If there is one non Durant or LeBron player able to win a playoff serie by himself he's Steph Curry. Is this it?

Blake Griffin had all the headlines when CP3 was out injured but for all of Steph Curry's magic for the Warriors, they will miss Bogut. Chris Paul is very much the leader going into the Playoffs and with Griffin, they'll provide high scoring and intensity games.

Where there is hate there is love. These two teams never see eye to eye, and all their recent matchups have been filled with bad blood. With so much pure individual talent on the floor pouring so much animosity towards each other, this is the playoff matchup for the neutral fan to love!

How will the Golden State Warriors cope without Andrew Bogut and how will Blake Griffin respond to all the hard fouls that come his way?

Chris Paul vs. Stephen Curry at point guard. Enough said.

4-2

These two have history so I’m looking forward to the rivalry aspect. Also looking forward to seeing the Warriors going with a small line up with Bogut on the side. Unfortunately, his loss might not make this as fun as it could have been!
Stefanos Triantafyllos

4-3
Let's change the rules. The team with the most highlights wins!

This may be the best “fun-to-watch series” in the first round. The matchup between Chris Paul and Stephen Curry’s should be just fantastic.

4-2
If Steph Curry can regain his form from last year’s playoffs, he is one of the most exciting players to watch. So I'll keep my fingers crossed.

4-2

Chris Paul vs. Steph Curry is a no-brainer as key matchup of the series. The pass-first CP3 has becoming more aggressive lately, the shoot-everything Curry can get on fire with a made shot. By far, the most interesting matchup of the first round.
Aldo Aviñante

4-2
Unfortunately the Warriors will be undermanned against the Clippers. I'd like to see if Blake Griffin will finally break out of Chris Paul's shadow and establish himself as the best player for the Clippers…and of course we're expecting a few out of the world shooting performances from the Splash Brothers.

4-2

Bogut x Griffin probably gets the headline because of all the chippiness between the two (as long as Bogut can play), but I'm looking forward to seeing what Steph Curry can do against Chris Paul. Two of the premier point guards in the league going at each other. CP3 has the advantage defensively, but Steph is so good, he could just use his whole arsenal to beat him. I expect a lot of crossovers, stutter steps, spin moves, the works.

I’m looking forward to these two teams wearing out the scoreboards with a ton of offense. Dunks and dunks from Blake Griffin and the Clippers vs. a barrage of long shots by the Stephen Curry and the Warriors. Lots of fun. Plus the trash talking should be off the charts. There is real bad blood here and it could be the most intense and emotional series in the first round.
