Inaugural NBA Madness Asia Tour to Visit Six Countries and Territories This Summer

HONG KONG, June 28, 2007 – NBA Madness Asia Tour, featuring the 2007 NBA Finals Championship Trophy and special appearances by NBA players, dance teams and mascots, will roll into six Asian countries and territories to bring the fun and excitement of the league to fans of all ages this summer.
The DHL-NBA Trophy Tour will be one of the most exciting elements of the inaugural NBA Madness Asia Tour. DHL and the NBA team up to bring the Larry O’Brien trophy to Asia, giving NBA fans the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the coveted trophy, and experience the prize that NBA players strive for all season.
Jerry Stackhouse, Dallas Mavericks guard, and members of the Mavs Dancers and Mavs Man, the team mascot, will travel to the Philippines with the Larry O’Brien Trophy as part of the summer basketball touring festival and participate in a series of interactive activities with passionate NBA fans. The trophy will then visit the other stops on the tour and meet the Asian fans with different NBA talents.
The inaugural NBA Madness Asia Tour, tipped off in Taiwan on June 9 with NBA Madness on the Move (June 9 to August 12) and will travel to the Philippines (June 15 to July 22), Japan (July 26 to 29), Korea (August 2 to 5), Hong Kong (August 16 to 19) and Singapore (August 31 to September 2) to bring the authentic NBA interactive basketball experience to thousands of fans across Asia..

The NBA Madness Asia Tour promotes basketball in a fun and interactive atmosphere. Fans can showcase their hoop skills on Center Court, the venue for NBA-inspired basketball games and competitions. The following is a list of different activities that will be available in different markets:
