2007 Jr. NBA Skills Challenge Camp and Finals presented by Amway closed in grand style yesterday.
The final four were determined after a whole day of games on Saturday and the morning on Sunday - Pistons, Nets, Jazz and Spurs.
At 2:00pm sharp, Jazz met with Spurs for the championship game, while Pistons played against the Nets for the 2nd runner up title.
Despite Spurs having won the fourth quarter, Jazz still beat them by 93-66. In the end, this team formed of campers from Nanjing and Shijizhuang claimed the victory in winning the title as 2007 Jr. NBA All-Star China Team, who will be attending the 2008 NBA All-Star in New Orleans next year.
Apart from the 6 campers who won the individual prizes to Friday's Skills Challenge, Luo Kaiwen from Zhengzhou took the overall Skills Challenge award as well as two of the individual prizes.
Zheng Yifeng from Nanjing, the tallest kid, won the Finals MVP award, whilst the smallest and youngest kid at the camp - Li Lu from Zhengzhou, won the Best Sportsmanship award.
Congradulated again and again by VIPs, all 90 campers were real champions because of the hard work and dedication they had demonstrated throughout the 4 days.
Children seized the last chance to get autographs and pictures with Coaches Frank and Donnie after receiving their camp certificates and goody bags put together by Amway and the NBA.
