Milwaukee has not looked like the NBA's lowest-scoring team while winning its last two games. The Bucks have had little trouble putting up points against the Memphis Grizzlies of late.

The Bucks try to match their season high with a third straight victory while looking to continue their recent success against the visiting Grizzlies on Saturday night.

Milwaukee (16-24) has struggled at the offensive end of the floor, averaging 91.5 points and shooting 42.3 percent this season. However, the Bucks have shot 49.3 percent and scored at least 100 while winning two straight after a 2-8 stretch,

Andrew Bogut scored 23 points, Corey Maggette had 20 and Keyon Dooling added 12 with 11 assists in Friday's 102-88 victory at lowly Cleveland.

The Bucks have managed to generate offense despite leading scorer Brandon Jennings (17.9 points per game) still out with a broken foot and with John Salmons (13.8 ppg) possibly missing a third straight game with hip soreness.

Bogut, who has been plagued by a strength-sapping virus, bounced back Friday after totaling 26 points his previous three contests. The veteran center underwent blood tests and continues to hope for the best.

"I have my fingers crossed it's nothing too bad," said Bogut, who scored just six points in 36 minutes in Wednesday's 100-87 win over Washington. "There's definitely something there because my lymph nodes are all swollen. We have to figure out what it is and get the right medication and get rid of it."

Milwaukee did receive a boost with the return of starting swingman Carlos Delfino, who scored nine points in 22 minutes against the Cavaliers after missing more than two months with a concussion.

"It's a big moment for him and a good moment for us," coach Scott Skiles said of Delfino, who averaged 12.9 points before he was hurt. "Carlos is a very good player for us. We're glad to have him back."

Milwaukee hopes to continue its surge against the Grizzlies (20-23). The Bucks have averaged 103.8 points while winning seven of eight in the series.

Bogut has averaged 17.0 points and totaled 50 rebounds - 33 on the offensive end - in his last five games versus Memphis. He had 18 with 11 boards in Milwaukee's 108-103 overtime home victory in the teams' most recent meeting March 28.

Zach Randolph paced the Grizzlies with 31 points and 15 rebounds in that contest. The veteran forward continued his strong season with 29 points and 19 boards to help Memphis avoid a third straight loss, 115-110 over Houston on Friday.

"I wanted the ball every time in the clutch, and I had it going," said Randolph, who was a big reason the Grizzlies scored a season-high 72 points in the paint. "I was feeling good out there."

Randolph also tied a franchise record with his ninth straight double-double, averaging 24.8 points and 15.2 rebounds during that span. Randolph has recorded six double-doubles in his last seven games at Milwaukee.

Rudy Gay has scored 22 points in each of the last two games. He's averaged 24.0 on 56.3 percent shooting his last three at the Bradley Center.

Gasol, Randolph have double-doubles in Memphis win

MILWAUKEE (AP) Zach Randolph's record-setting consistency and Marc Gasol's strong performances down low have the Memphis Grizzlies convinced they can erase their erratic ways in time for a playoff push.

Gasol scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds - his first 20-10 game of the season - and Randolph had his franchise-best 10th straight double-double in the Grizzlies' 94-81 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.

"We're trying to make the next step," said Gasol, who had eight games of at least 20 points and 10 rebounds last year. "We've been really up and down. When we win a couple of games, we get really confident and when we lose a couple, we get down."

Randolph finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds, his 30th double-double, and Memphis is on a two-game winning streak again after also beating Houston on Friday night.

The Grizzlies have eight winning streaks and seven losing streaks of at least two games this season.

Randolph, who had been feeling sick, had no clue he had erased a 12-year club mark.

"I set a record today? I didn't know that. Hopefully, I can keep it going for another 10 more games," Randolph said. "The game is played inside-out. That is how the game is played. You know that is what coach preaches. That is how we draw it up."

Reserve Earl Boykins scored 23 points for Milwaukee, but the Bucks failed to extend their own winning streak after beating lowly Washington and Cleveland.

"It was an ugly basketball game for most of the night and they outplayed us," said Andrew Bogut, who finished with 14 points. "Gasol, he killed me tonight and he had a lot of easy baskets and post moves. Their bigs really played well."

The Grizzlies seem their best when they keep attacking the paint. After a season-high 72 points in the paint against the Rockets, they had 56 against the short-handed Bucks.

"That's our game," Memphis coach Lionel Hollins said. "We lead the league in points in the paint. We led the league last year in points in the paint. That is who we are. We try to find ways to attack the paint."

Corey Maggette and rookie Larry Sanders had 12 apiece, but the lowest-scoring, worst-shooting team in the NBA failed to reach its already ugly benchmarks of 42.3 percent shooting or 91.5 points per game.

"We had so many good looks again. We had our chances to create some momentum for ourselves, and we unfortunately just couldn't knock them down," Bucks coach Scott Skiles said.

Milwaukee used a 9-0 run to cut the Grizzlies' 18-point lead in half, and Maggette and Boykins hit consecutive jumpers to make it 76-71 with 7:53 left. After Maggette's layup cut it to 81-77 with 3:10 remaining, the Bucks never got closer.

Mike Conley hit a 3-pointer, Boykins missed a jumper and O.J. Mayo added another 3 from the corner that gave Memphis an 87-77 lead with 1:23 left. Memphis finished shooting 51 percent compared to Milwaukee's 37.8 percent.

Darrell Arthur scored all of his 14 points in the second half, and Rudy Gay and Mayo each added 11 as the Grizzlies took control at the start of third quarter with an 11-2 run.

Gasol, Sam Young and Conley all got easy layups and Gasol made a nice bounce pass to Randolph for another easy bucket that put the Grizzlies ahead 54-42, while Milwaukee had just one field goal over a 4-minute stretch.

Arthur's putback and Mayo's breakaway dunk made it 72-54 late in the third quarter.

The Bucks were already missing much of their scoring punch without starters Brandon Jennings (left foot), John Salmons (right hip) and Drew Gooden (left foot). Jennings hopes he can return in the coming days.

Still, it appeared it would be a tough night for the Grizzlies early.

Gasol whacked Randolph across the face with his right elbow late in the first quarter that left Randolph sprawled out in pain. But he returned a few minutes later to continue his record run, topping Shareef Abdur-Rahim's streak of nine double-doubles set in Vancouver in 1999.

"I said, 'Oops,"' Gasol said of his wild elbow. "I thought I was fouled, so I just flung my arms. He's a tough guy. He's OK."

Notes: Bogut's 'NBA Dream Package' ended up fetching $38,200 for the Premier's Disaster Relief Fund in Australia following the recent floods. The package includes round trip airfare, sightseeing and game tickets in both Los Angeles and Milwaukee over a week. ... Gay was loudly booed when shooting free throws in the third quarter because the big screen was showing a Chicago Bears' logo before Sunday's NFC Championship game with the Packers.

THE FACTS: Marc Gasol posted 24 points and 16 rebounds, and Zach Randolph had 16 and 11 as the Memphis Grizzlies owned the inside to take a 94-81 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday night at the Bradley Center. Memphis won for the second time in two nights and stopped Milwaukee's modest two-game winning streak.

THE STAT: With numerous opportunities to complete a comeback, the Bucks just couldn't get a big shot to go down. Their finishing figure of 37.8 percent (34 of 90) marked the 19th time in 41 games that Milwaukee shot under 40 percent this season.

TURNING POINT: The Bucks trailed by as many as 18 but had drawn within 81-77 and were getting stops up until Mike Conley nailed a cold-blooded 3-pointer with 2:17 left. That stopped the Milwaukee momentum, and another 3-pointer by O.J. Mayo with 1:23 left assured Memphis the victory. Those were the Grizzlies' only two 3-pointers of the night.

QUOTABLE II: "We hit a couple of 3s. Conley's was good, and Zach got an offensive rebound and put it back in; he got fouled another time. Just all the things that you need to be able to do when you're trying to close out a game, we were able to do them tonight."

HOT: Randolph made 7 of 10 shots on a night where he was battling a bit of a virus.

NOT: Chris Douglas-Roberts went 0 for 3 in 15 first-half minutes and did not see any action in the second half. Carlos Delfino took a lot of those minutes in his second game back but made just 2 of 12 shots.

INSIDE THE ARENA: During a second-quarter timeout, several Bucks players in pre-taped videos wished the Green Bay Packers well in their NFC Championship game Sunday against the Chicago Bears. ... When Memphis players were shooting free throws in the third quarter, a large Chicago Bears logo was put on the scoreboard screens, prompting loud boos from the crowd.

GOOD MOVE: By consistently pounding the ball inside, the Grizzlies shot 51.4 percent (37 of 72). Gasol, Randolph and Darrell Arthur combined to go 21 for 33 (63.6 percent), with almost all of their shots coming from in the paint.

BAD MOVE: Having a hot hand is one thing, but when your best offensive option is the smallest player on the court, something is wrong. Earl Boykins led Milwaukee with 23 points but went just 8-for-22. Center Andrew Bogut took just 14 shots, making half of them.

ROOKIE WATCH: Forward Larry Sanders helped get Milwaukee back in the game, finishing with 12 points, six rebounds and three blocked shots.

NOTABLE: Saturday marked the 43rd anniversary of the date (Jan. 22, 1968) the NBA granted a franchise to the Milwaukee group headed by Marvin Fishman and Wesley D. Pavalon. The Phoenix Suns also were awarded an NBA franchise on that date. ... Bucks guard John Salmons missed his third straight game with a sore right hip, and forward Drew Gooden sat out with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. Gooden had played the previous five games but has now missed 16 games because of the nagging problem. With those two and Brandon Jennings (foot) still out, the Bucks were missing 60 percent of their opening day starting lineup. Jennings said he'll practice on Tuesday which means he might return for the Wednesday game against Atlanta.
