With a chance to win seven straight for the first time in nearly seven years, the Utah Jazz look to end a three-game losing streak in Sacramento when they face the Kings on Wednesday night.
Utah (10-1) owns the league's best record and is off to the best start in franchise history, but has lost 17 of its last 21 games against Sacramento (5-4). The Jazz's last road win against the Kings came on Feb. 27, 2004.
A victory Wednesday would give the Jazz their longest winning streak since a seven-game run from Feb. 28-March 16, 2000.
Carlos Boozer scored a season-high 35 points on his 25th birthday, helping Utah rally past Toronto 101-96 on Monday night for its sixth consecutive win.
``Sometimes you are going to have nights like that and some nights are going to be tough in the NBA,'' said Boozer, who was one point shy of his career high of 36 against Seattle on Dec. 1, 2004.
It was the second consecutive game Utah rallied from a 16-point deficit. The Jazz beat Phoenix 120-117 in overtime Saturday after trailing by 16.
Rookie forward Paul Millsap had a career-high 20 points against the Raptors. The second-round draft choice out of Louisiana Tech also had seven rebounds, including five on the offensive end.
``I think Millsap has shown us a great deal about what team basketball is,'' said Utah coach Jerry Sloan, who doesn't hand out many compliments to rookies. ``We don't like to talk about it. We just go do it.''
Millsap had 18 points and a career-high 10 rebounds against the Suns.
``I'm going in there and doing what I've got to do,'' Millsap said.
Andrei Kirilenko has missed fourth straight game with a sprained ankle. His status for Wednesday's game is uncertain.
Sacramento has dropped two straight after a four-game winning streak.
The Kings lost 108-99 to San Antonio on Sunday night despite Ron Artest's 22 points. They had season lows of 10 assists and four steals.
``We need to get back to moving the ball and helping each other on defense, and we'll be all right,'' said Sacramento guard Mike Bibby, who was 3-for-12 from the field.
It was the Kings' first loss in five home games. They play three of their next four at Arco Arena.
Artest had 19 of his points against the Spurs in the first half. He missed 10 of his last 15 shots.
``I'm going to let coach and the organization figure out what type of plays need to be in the game, how they want the ball to move,'' Artest said. ``I'm just going to continue to play my game.''
Kevin Martin, who leads Sacramento with 23.7 points per game, has scored at least 20 points in five straight contests.
Already without injured center Brad Miller because of a left foot injury, the Kings were without guard John Salmons against San Antonio due to a bruised right quadriceps muscle. Salmons is questionable for Wednesday's game.
