The Orlando Magic have been tough to beat at home this season, but trying to defeat the Indiana Pacers lately has been a problem.
The Magic look to continue their strong play at home and end their four-game losing streak to the Pacers Wednesday when they meet at TD Waterhouse Centre.
After winning 12 of their last 13 games in Orlando (7-4) last season, the Magic are off to a 5-1 start at home this season. They are shooting a league-best 51.9 percent from the field at home, and have connected on 30-of-60 3-pointers during their current four-game home win streak.
Orlando had won four straight games overall before losing 95-86 at Memphis on Monday.
The Magic led for much of the game until the Grizzlies used a 21-2 fourth-quarter run to take control.
``When we were winning by a lot of points, we didn't bury them,'' Magic forward Dwight Howard said. ``We let them come back in the game.
``I guess our execution wasn't there. We went about five or six possessions without scoring.''
Howard scored 24 points and grabbed 23 rebounds for his second straight 20-point, 20-rebound game and already has three 20-20 games this season.
``He's just a monster. He's a beast out there and played unbelievable,'' Memphis forward Hakim Warrick said.
Howard is shooting 60.8 percent from the floor, and had 17 points and 14 rebounds in Orlando's 93-83 loss Nov. 10 to Indiana (6-5), extending the Magic's franchise-record losing streak to the Pacers to four games.
Orlando has lost by an average of 10.5 points while getting outrebounded by an average of 7.7 boards in those losses. Howard has averaged 15.3 points and 9.5 rebounds in those defeats.
The Magic also have been unable to rely on their homecourt against the Pacers either, losing five of their last six against them at TD Waterhouse Centre.
Indiana has split its six road games this season, and is coming off its second straight comeback win.
The Pacers - who rallied from a 17-point deficit Saturday to defeat Milwaukee - scored the final 14 points Tuesday in their 93-88 victory over the Bucks to complete a home-and-home sweep.
``It was one of the more bizarre games I've been involved with, regular season or playoffs,'' Indiana coach Rick Carlisle said. ``It's a game where you have to find a way to win.''
Jermaine O'Neal finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds, including the final two free throws to seal the win, and Jamaal Tinsley - who added 17 points - banked in a 10-footer with 31.5 seconds left to give the Pacers the lead for good.
``Jamaal willed us to win,'' Carlisle said. ``When his energy is up defensively, the whole group behind him is ready to go. Without him, we could not have won this game.''
Tinsley had nine assists on Tuesday, and is averaging 16 points and 7.3 assists in his last three games.
Leading scorer Al Harrington returned to the lineup after missing Saturday's game with a back injury sustained Friday against New Jersey, and had just seven points on 3 for 11 shooting. Harrington, however, did grab a career-high 18 rebounds.
Harrington scored a season-high 32 points on 13-of-23 shooting in Indiana's win over Orlando earlier this season, while O'Neal had just nine points on 4-of-15 shooting.
