The Denver Nuggets have had all their success on the road this season, but they'll be in for a challenge when they visit the Orlando Magic on Wednesday.
The Nuggets will look to win their fourth straight game as they close out a four-game road trip at a place where they will try to end a 13-game losing streak.
Denver (3-3) started the season 0-3, losing two of those games at home, before starting the road swing with a 108-101 win over Philadelphia on Friday. The Nuggets beat Charlotte 108-101 on Sunday and defeated Miami - minus Shaquille O'Neal - 112-105 on Tuesday night.
``A week ago the media had us buried,'' Denver coach George Karl said. ``Now we're good.''
Carmelo Anthony scored 33 points to raise his season average to 30.0 points per game and Andre Miller had a season-high 29 points and had 10 assists against the Heat.
The Nuggets converted two four-point plays, and used an 11-0 run starting late in the third quarter to go ahead for good. The Nuggets outscored Miami 54-36 in the paint and their 112 points were a season-high.
Denver is averaging 109.3 points per during their streak, compared to the 103.7 average it had through the first three games. The Nuggets also are shooting 81.3 percent from the free-throw line in their last three games compared to 76.1 percent in the three losses.
``Our chemistry has started coming back,'' Anthony said.
Forward Nene has missed time with a bruised knee. He was inactive for Denver's last two games and his status is uncertain for Wednesday's game. Nene is averaging 8.0 off the bench in four games this season.
While Denver has been successful on the road, Orlando (5-3) have played well at home, winning three of its four games there.
Orlando hasn't lost to Denver at home since March 1992.
The Magic (5-3) won two of three on their most recent road trip, including a 92-89 win over the Celtics on Monday night. Orlando has won four of five since starting 1-2.
Orlando squandered an eight-point fourth-quarter lead against Boston, but rallied back as Grant Hill made a go-ahead layup with 1:30 remaining in the game to keep the Magic on top to stay.
Hill finished with 18 points. Guard Jameer Nelson had 24 points.
``That's a good experience for us to go behind by one towards the end of the game and have to execute to get back on top,'' Orlando coach Brian Hill said. ``We're coming off a season where we won 10 games on the road, so to fall behind and come back will give our guys a lot of confidence.''
Center Dwight Howard will try for his fourth straight double-double Wednesday. He had 17 points and 15 rebounds against the Celtics.
The Magic, who have a one-half game lead over the Atlanta Hawks in the Southeast Division, are holding opponents to 97.3 points per game at home, while scoring an average of 101.5 and shooting 54.0 percent from the field. They are averaging 108.5 points during the home winning streak over the Nuggets.
The teams split their two-game series last season.
