LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (Ticker) -- The freewheeling style of Don Nelson has taken effect with the Golden State Warriors, who are unbeaten in the preseason.

Dajuan Wagner scored 23 points to lead six players in double figures as the Warriors posted a 116-106 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Golden State, which averaged 98.5 points per game last season, has scored at least 112 points in each of its five preseason wins.

Ike Diogu scored 16 points and Matt Barnes, Anthony Roberson, Monta Ellis and Mickael Pietrus each added 15 for the Warriors, who shot 54 percent (43-of-79) from the field.

The Clippers held an 87-86 lead entering the fourth quarter but were outscored, 15-4, to open the period. Los Angeles shot 43 percent (39-of-90) from the field but made just seven baskets in the final period.

Yaroslav Korolev made five 3-pointers and scored 25 points and Jawad Williams added 17 for the Clippers. Tim Thomas scored 15 points, all in the third quarter.

Starters Baron Davis, Jason Richardson and Troy Murphy continue to nurse minor injuries and did not suit up for the Warriors.

Elton Brand, Cuttino Mobley and Shaun Livingston, who combined for 57 points Thursday, did not play for Los Angeles. Sam Cassell (right calf) and Chris Kaman (left hamstring) also sat out.

Both teams won Thursday night to open the annual Lakers Shootout at the Staples Center. The Clippers edged the crosstown Lakers, 91-90, after the Warriors defeated the New Orleans Hornets, 112-103.
