CINCINNATI, Ohio, Oct. 18 (Ticker) -- Another injury spoiled a great
night for Kenyon Martin.
Martin scored 20 points before leaving with an undisclosed
injury in the Denver Nuggets' 114-102 preseason victory over the
Indiana Pacers.
Last season, Martin was limited to a career-low 56 games after
undergoing left knee surgery prior to the campaign.
Martin played with plenty of energy Wednesday, making 7-of-13
shots and grabbing eight rebounds before leaving the game with
3:32 remaining in the third quarter.
Andre Miller collected 13 points and seven assists and Eduardo Najera had 12 points for Denver, which shot 46 percent
(38-of-83).
Stephen Jacksonscored 13 points for the Pacers, who lost star
forward Jermaine O'Neal to a hamstring injury.
