SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- The Utah Jazz need to come up with a big effort Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs if they hope to reach the postseason.

The Jazz find themselves in an uphill battle for a postseason spot as they trail Sacramento (38-36) by 2 1/2 games for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Andrei Kirilenko collected 23 points and 13 rebounds, Carlos Boozer added 22 and 10 and Mehmet Okur chipped in 21 and 14 to lead Utah to a 102-89 triumph at Portland on Saturday.

The Spurs own a 2 1/2 game lead over Dallas (55-19) for both the Southwest Division title and the best record in the Western Conference. San Antonio is also two games behind Detroit (59-14) for the league's top mark.

San Antonio overcame a 10-point deficit Saturday with a strong fourth-quarter performance from Manu Ginobili to defeat Washington, 106-99. The Spurs shooting guard had 16 of his 22 points in the final period, including his team's last 14 points.

Tony Parker scored 24 of his 28 points after halftime and Tim Duncan collected 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Spurs, who won for the ninth time in 11 games.
