Minnesota (30-41) at Denver (40-32) 9:00 pm EST

DENVER (Ticker) -- Looking to halt a two-game slide, the Denver Nuggets meet a team that appears to be extremely vulnerable.

Denver tries to bounce back from its recent skid and win for the 11th time in 16 games in March when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves in their final matchup of the season.

Closing in on their first division title since 1987-1988, the Nuggets opened March by winning 10 of 13 games before dropping consecutive contests to Phoenix and Utah. However, Denver leads the Jazz by 5 1/2 games in the division race with 10 games left.

Carmelo Anthony scored 31 points to lead the team in scoring for the ninth straight game and Andre Miller added 19 with 12 assists for the Nuggets in Wednesday's 115-104 loss to Utah.

Though they still have a mathematical shot at reaching the playoffs, the Timberwolves have lost 10 straight road games and 14 of their last 15 away from home. Minnesota's next loss will ensure its first losing record since 1996-1997.

Kevin Garnett scored 27 points and grabbed 19 rebounds for his 28th straight double-double and Ricky Davis added 26 with 10 assists for the Timberwolves in Wednesday's 103-91 triumph over the Orlando Magic.

Denver has won two of the three meetings over Minnesota this season, including a 102-101 overtime victory February 24. Anthony hit the go-ahead basket with 3.4 seconds left and scored 30 points.
