Chicago (31-40) at Charlotte (20-52) 7:30 pm EST

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls will be trying to make up ground in their playoff chase Friday when they visit the Charlotte Bobcats.

The Bulls trail Philadelphia by 1 1/2 games - two in the loss column - for the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Although seven of their last 10 games are against teams that are below .500, Chicago can't take anything for granted after dropping Tuesday's home game against Orlando (28-44).

Andres Nocioni collected a career-high 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls, who scored just 11 points in the fourth quarter.

The Bobcats are in a virtual tie with the New York Knicks for the worst record in the NBA. Charlotte ended a three-game losing streak Tuesday with a 125-117 victory over Atlanta in the opener of a four-game homestand.

Gerald Wallace scored 18 of his career-high 41 points in the fourth quarter and rookie Raymond Felton collected 28 points and 10 assists.

The Bobcats have won two of the three meetings against the Bulls this season.
