Corey Maggette filled in for Mobley for his first start since early December and scored 19 points.
Los Angeles opened a 32-20 lead after one quarter and took a 63-47 advantage into the break. Brand had 21 points and Cassell 15 in the first half.
"I thought they executed very well and played an all-around game," Wizards coach Eddie Jordan said. "We didn't have an answer for Brand or Sam. They played well and we didn't - simple as that."
The Clippers' cushion reached 24 points early in the fourth quarter and they cruised home to clinch their first sweep of the Wizards since the 1992-93 campaign.
"I think as long as we have intensity, then we'll be fine," Cassell said. "All ups and downs come from lack of intensity, and as long as we have intensity for 48 minutes, we're fine. When we lack that intensity, we tend to struggle."
Los Angeles (40-28) moved one-half game ahead of Memphis for the fifth seed in the Western Conference playoff race.
"We've had some lows and some mishaps, but I think we'll be able to string it together soon," Brand said.
"Every game is going to be important," Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy Sr. said. "We have a tough schedule to finish the season off. It's going to be a challenge and test, but it should get us ready."
Antawn Jamison scored 31 points to pace Washington, which slipped to 1-1 on a season-high six-game road trip. The Wizards (35-33) saw their lead over Indiana for fifth in the East slip to one-half game.
"We knew they were playing well and you have to tip your hat to them," Jamison said of the Clippers. "This team can scare some people in the playoffs."
All-Star guard Gilbert Arenas added 17 points for the Wizards but made just 6-of-16 shots, including 1-of-7 from behind the arc.
Overall, the Wizards shot just 41 percent (39-of-95) and allowed the Clippers to connect on 51 percent (39-of-76).
