New Orleans (30-25) at Portland (18-36) 9:00 pm EST

PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) -- Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets awoke from their post All-Star break slumber. They look to open their four-game road trip on a positive note Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Hornets struggled offensively in their first two games after the break, managing a total of just 151 points in consecutive losses to Indiana and Utah.

But Paul scored 23 points and dished out eight assists as the Hornets rebounded with a 100-95 victory over the Jazz on Saturday.

David West had 20 points and reserve Linton Johnson added 17 and 11 rebounds in his Hornets debut.

The Trail Blazers simply want to get back in the win column. Portland has dropped three straight since the All-Star break, including a 102-96 loss to Boston on Friday.

Rookie Martell Webster scored a season-high 24 points and Zach Randolph added 19 for the Blazers, who have lost eight of their last nine contests.
