DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks look to add on to their
perfect mark at home against Eastern Conference teams when the
struggling Milwaukee Bucks visit the American Airlines Center
on Monday.
The Mavericks improved to 6-0 against Eastern Conference
opponents at home in a 110-77 rout of New Jersey on Saturday.
During the six-game streak, Dallas' average margin of victory is
19 points.
Former Buck Keith Van Horn made five consecutive three pointers
in the first half and finished with 23 points in the Mavericks'
fourth win in five contests. Forward Josh Howard scored a
game-high 29 points on 11-of-17 shooting and Dirk Nowitzki
collected 16 points.
Milwaukee begins a three-game road trip here after a 100-93 loss
to Denver, which was led by Carmelo Anthony's 38 points on
Saturday. The Bucks have dropped five of their last seven
games.
Michael Redd scored 29 points and handed out six assists, as all
five starters scored in double figures. Bobby Simmons had 15
points and rookie Andrew Bogut and Jamaal Magloire followed with
13 apiece.
Dallas swept the two-game series vs. Milwaukee last season and
has won four of the last five meetings here.
