Denver (19-19) at Chicago (15-21) 2:00 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) - The Chicago Bulls are looking to regain last season's magic that propelled them to their first playoff appearance in seven years.

Looking to rebound from Saturday's frustrating defeat to Indiana, the Bulls meet the Denver Nuggets on Monday in their first of two encounters this season.

Saturday's 91-89 loss to the Pacers may have been the most disappointing for Chicago, which has dropped 10 of 13. After the Bulls failed to hold a 12-point lead in the second half, Ben Gordon's potential game-tying basket at the buzzer was disallowed after video review.

Andres Nocioni scored 15 points and Darius Songaila added 14 for Chicago, which had six players in double figures.

Although they are only at the .500 mark, the Nuggets are tied with Minnesota for second place in the Northwest Division, one-half game behind Utah.

Ranked eighth in the league in scoring (25.4), Carmelo Anthony had 38 points and Earl Boykins came off the bench to add 21 for Denver in Saturday's 100-93 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Denver has won eight of the last 10 meetings against Chicago. The Bulls hold a 23-10 home mark against the Nuggets.
