Jackson scored 27 points, including seven in the fourth quarter, as the Pacers ended a four-game losing streak with a 99-89 triumph over the Golden State Warriors.

Pacers-Warriors: Play |
"You've got to have character to bounce back from a disappointing night like last night," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. "You've got to have character and poise to withstand a furious run in a very loud building. You've just got to keep your boots strapped up and keep playing. Our guys did that and they earned the win."
"We're short of players, we don't know what's going on with the trades so it's not the most perfect situation for this team, but tonight it was truly a great win," said Indiana rookie guard Sarunas Jasikevicius, who scored 12 points off the bench.
Despite their limited numbers, the Pacers raced to a 34-14 advantage after one period. Jackson scored 12 and rookie Danny Granger had seven of his 13 points in the opening 12 minutes when Indiana was 13-of-21 (32 percent) from the floor.
"There's no doubt right now that (Jackson) is our main guy," Carlisle said. "He's going to make some things happen for us. He's going to get some good looks at the basket."
"Anytime you can get up to a big lead like that, that's going to help you," said Pacers forward Austin Croshere, who scored 17 points. "We did the same thing in Seattle a couple of days ago at home and are able to hold on to the lead."
The Warriors, who made just 6-of-18 (33 percent) of their shots in the opening quarter and trailed by 15 at halftime, chipped away in the second half behind Mike Dunleavy, who finished with 19 points, and the 17-point effort of Jason Richardson.
"That's how it is sometimes, you're going to have off-shooting days where we're not always going to be able to shoot 60 percent from the 3-point line," said Warriors rookie center Ike Diogu, who collected 16 points and 12 rebounds, about the Warriors making just 3-of-20 shots from the arc. "Today it was just one of those days. Normally we're a decent shooting team so it was one of our off nights."
Golden State closed within 91-89 with 1:46 remaining when Derek Fisher capped a 6-0 burst with a pair of free throws.
However, Jackson responded 40 seconds later with a tough layup while being double-teamed and fouled. Although he missed the ensuing free throw, Jackson's effort sparked an 8-0 Pacers surge that sealed the win.
"I kind of baited them the first two times and the last play of the game," Jackson said. "I knew that once I spin baseline, I had them and I got a step on them, pump-faked them and I got (Richardson) and Diogu in the air and I was able to draw a foul and make the 'and one."
"It wasn't too much to overcome," Richardson said. "We were right there, cut it to six. I think we just had to get a couple of more stops. I don't think we were tired or anything like that but you can't get down by 20 (points). The league is too tough to do that."
