Minnesota (14-12) at Orlando (11-15) 7:00 pm EST

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Wally Szczerbiak looks to continue his torrid shooting Friday when the Minnesota Timberwolves play their final December game against the Orlando Magic.

Averaging 25 points and shooting 56 percent from the floor this month, Szczerbiak has led the team in scoring 11 times in December and has reached the 20-point plateau for a career-best nine consecutive contests.

Szczerbiak scored 30 points for the third time this season and Kevin Garnett added 26 and 10 rebounds as the Timberwolves shot a season-high 58 percent (43-of-74) in Thursday's 108-95 win over the Seattle SuperSonics.

Making his first career start for Minnesota, Eddie Griffin had 22 points and 12 rebounds, becoming the first player in franchise history to have 20 points and 10 rebounds in his starting debut.

After losing nine of 11, Orlando has won its last two contests, including Wednesday's 105-95 triumph over the New York Knicks.

Grant Hill scored 26 points to lead six players in double figures. Steve Francis had 17 and DeShawn Stevenson 14 for the Magic, who shot 53 percent (38-of-72).

Orlando has won 12 of the last 16 home meetings against Minnesota. The teams split their two encounters last season.
