The loss of those players made Bibby the focal point of the offense. He responded with season-highs of 38 points and 10 rebounds in a win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
Bibby continued it Friday as his 3-pointer gave the Kings a 71-56 advantage with 8:45 left in the third quarter.
However, the Celtics rallied behind Ricky Davis and seven 3-pointers. Davis netted three of the 3-pointers as he scored 14 of his 33 points in the third quarter as Boston grabbed an 82-81 edge with less than two minutes left in the period.
Sacramento built a seven-point lead in the fourth quarter, but Boston shaved its deficit to 104-101 with 2:53 left on a pair of free throws by Paul Pierce, who collected 22 points and nine assists.
However, the Kings responded with a 9-2 burst, with Thomas scoring seven of them to hand the Celtics their third straight loss on their West Coast swing and drop them to 2-11 on the road overall.
