Seattle (8-9) at Utah (8-11) 9:00 pm EST

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) - Despite their problems in the past couple of seasons, the Utah Jazz usually have found a way to beat the Seattle SuperSonics at home.

The Jazz try to post consecutive home victories for the first time this season when they battle the SuperSonics on Friday.

Looking for its third victory in four games overall, Utah has won nine of the last 10 home encounters against Seattle dating to the 1999-2000 campaign. The lone defeat during that stretch was last December 27.

Matt Harpring made 13-of-17 shots to score 30 points and Mehmet Okur added 17 points as the Jazz snapped a four-game home losing streak with Wednesday's 95-83 triumph over the woeful Atlanta Hawks.

The SuperSonics had a three-game winning streak snapped in Tuesday's 104-101 loss to the New York Knicks. Ray Allen scored 25 points and Vladimir Radmanovic added 23 for Seattle, which failed to hold a 10-point first-quarter lead as it fell to 0-3 this season when trying to move above .500.

Okur scored 24 points as the Jazz recorded a 93-87 win over the SuperSonics in their first meeting of the campaign November 22.
