Milwaukee (4-2) at Golden State (5-3), 10:30 pm EST
OAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- The only thing that stood
between the Milwaukee Bucks and a perfect homestand last week
was the Golden State Warriors, their opponent Wednesday at The
Arena in Oakland.
The Bucks started a three-game homestand November 5 with a win
over Miami and capped it with another in dramatic fashion over
Indiana, earning victories over two of the Eastern Conference
favorites.
However, the middle game of that string resulted in a 110-103
loss to the Warriors, who were led by Troy Murphy's 25 points.
Golden State got five players into double figures and shot
13-of-27 (48 percent) from 3-point range.
Milwaukee fell behind in the third quarter of that setback and
did so again in the opener of a four-game road trip Tuesday
against the Los Angeles Clippers.
In a 109-85 loss to the Clippers, the Bucks were outscored,
30-17, in the third quarter and fell behind by as many as 31
points in the fourth.
Michael Redd and T.J. Ford scored 15 points apiece for
Milwaukee, which had won its first two road games.
The Warriors have split four games since their win over the
Bucks after Monday's 100-82 over Chicago. Jason Richardson led
five players in double figures with 32 points as Golden State
improved to 3-1 at home.
The Warriors have won the last four meetings between the teams.
