Washington (5-1) at Cleveland (5-2), 7:00 pm EST
CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a roll, but
their surge could be put to a halt when the strong Washington
Wizards pay a visit Tuesday.
The Cavaliers have won four straight games overall and are 3-0
at the Quicken Loans Arena, but the Wizards are off to their
best start since 1989 and have won their first two road games of
the campaign.
Cleveland is coming off a 108-100 win at Orlando on Sunday.
LeBron James made history with his 26-point effort, becoming the
youngest player in NBA history to score 4,000 career points.
Larry Hughes had his best game since signing a five-year, $60
million contract with the Cavaliers in the offseason. The
versatile guard collected 22 points, nine rebounds, seven
assists and four steals - all season bests.
Gilbert Arenas scored an NBA season-high 43 points - one shy of
his career best - to help Washington rout defending champion San
Antonio, 110-95, at the MCI Center on Saturday.
Arenas - who scored 32 the previous night against Seattle - made
15-of-20 shots against the Spurs as the Wizards shot 55 percent
from the field.
Washington won two of the three meetings against Cleveland last
season, including the only meeting here. The Wizards have gone
8-3 against the Cavaliers over the last three seasons.
