Seattle (2-4) at New Jersey (3-4), 7:30 pm EST

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The 2005-06 campaign has not started the way Jason Kidd and the New Jersey Nets had envisioned.

The Nets hope to end a two-game skid and get back to the .500 mark on Tuesday when they host the Seattle SuperSonics.

Tabbed by many as the favorite to win the Atlantic Division, New Jersey entered the season looking to ride its stellar offensive trio of Kidd, Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson.

Although the three stars have combined to average more than 55 points, the rest of the team has struggled offensively.

Kidd collected 20 points and nine rebounds on Saturday, but the Nets shot just 37 percent (29-for-78) from the floor and dropped a 99-91 decision to the Houston Rockets.

The SuperSonics hope to carry some momentum from their 126-121 overtime triumph over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.

Rashard Lewis scored 41 points and Nick Collison added 20 and 12 rebounds for Seattle, which has needed to go to overtime in posting both of its victories.
