Boston (3-3) at Detroit (6-0), 7:30 pm EST

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons hope to keep their perfect record intact Tuesday when they host one of their earliest victims, the Boston Celtics.

The Pistons are off to their best start since 1988, when they opened that campaign 9-0.

Detroit's remarkable start almost was derailed in the team's second game, but a buzzer-beating jumper by Richard Hamilton lifted the team to an 82-81 triumph at Boston on November 4.

Chauncey Billups collected 21 points and 10 assists as the Pistons closed out their three game Western swing with an 84-81 win at Portland on Friday. Tayshaun Prince and Hamilton each added 14 points as all five starters scored in double figures for the second consecutive game.

Big man Raef LaFrentz connected on seven 3-pointers en route to a 32-point game as Boston rolled to a 102-92 home win against Houston. Ricky Davis and Paul Pierce added 19 points apiece for the Celtics, who have not won back-to-back games this season.

Detroit has won seven of the last eight meetings against Boston, including the last three meetings here.
