New York (0-3) at Portland (1-2), 10:00 pm EST

PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) -- Just one week into his tenure as coach of the New York Knicks, Larry Brown's "dream job" is starting to turn into a nightmare.

Brown looks for his first victory of the season when the Knicks begin a six-game road trip Wednesday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Averaging just 85.3 points and shooting 39.4 percent (99-for-251) from the field in its three losses, New York missed all 13 3-pointers in Sunday's 83-81 defeat against the Golden State Warriors.

Stephon Marbury scored 15 points, rookie Channing Frye added a season-high 12 and rookie David Lee grabbed 10 rebounds for the Knicks, who had a 51-40 rebounding edge but missed 15 foul shots.

After losing its first two games by 43 points, the Trail Blazers rallied for their first victory of the season Saturday, a 94-93 triumph over the Atlanta Hawks.

Zach Randolph sank the winning free throw with 0.2 seconds remaining to finish with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Sebastian Telfair scored 18 points and Darius Miles added 15 for the Trail Blazers.

Portland has won five straight home meetings against the Knicks and five of the last seven encounters overall. The Trail Blazers have a 32-11 home mark against New York and lead the all-time series, 46-40.
