SPOKANE, Wash., Oct. 28 (Ticker) -- Ray Allen had 20 points and seven assists as the Seattle SuperSonics posted a 96-85 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in the preseason finale for both teams.

Allen made 7-of-13 shots, including 4-of-7 from the arc, and Ronald Murray added 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting for the SuperSonics, who open the regular season Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The game was tied, 47-47, at halftime before Seattle pulled away by outscoring Portland, 26-16, in the third quarter.

Zach Randolph scored 19 points and Ruben Patterson contributed 12 for the Trail Blazers, who missed all 10 of their shots from the arc and committed 20 turnovers, leading to 31 points.

Despite getting 11 rebounds from Joel Przybilla, the Blazers were beaten, 39-34, on the boards.

Portland, which played without forward Darius Miles and point guard Sebastian Telfair, plays its season opener Wednesday at Minnesota.
