DENVER (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Spurs will look for continued spark off the bench from All-Star Manu Ginobili as they seek a commanding 3-1 lead in their Western Conference first round series with the Denver Nuggets on Monday.

Ginobili, who started all 74 games he played during the regular season, was moved to the bench after the second-seeded Spurs dropped the series opener to the seventh-seeded Nuggets.

The move has paid immediate dividends for San Antonio as Ginobili has averaged 24.5 points in a pair of victories. He scored 32 to pick up the slack for an ineffective Tim Duncan on Saturday as the Spurs reclaimed home-court advantage with an 86-78 triumph in Game Three.

Duncan picked up two quick fouls and never got going, scoring 11 points on 5-of-19 shooting. The Spurs shot just 38 percent (31-of-81) from the field and 64 percent (18-of-28) from the free-throw line.

In addition to Ginobili, Robert Horry came off the bench to score 13 points as San Antonio held a monstrous 53-14 advantage in bench points.

Carmelo Anthony scored 19 points and Kenyon Martin added 18 for the Nuggets, who lost for just the second time in 22 home games under coach George Karl.

Game Five will be in San Antonio on Wednesday.
