CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Phoenix Suns can't celebrate their huge turnaround with the hunt for home-court advantage in progrees. On Wednesday, they continue that chase with their first visit to the expansion Charlotte Bobcats.

The Suns own a half-game lead over the San Antonio Spurs for the best record in the Western Conference. Phoenix took the lead in the race for the top spot in the Western Conference with a 105-94 triumph at Atlanta on Tuesday.

The victory was Phoenix's 50th of the season, making the Suns just the ninth team in league history to record 50 wins one season after losing 50 games.

Amare Stoudemire collected 40 points and 13 rebounds while Shawn Marion added 21 and 11.

The Bobcats rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to post a 102-97 triumph over the reeling Orlando Magic, who were without Steve Francis because of a suspension.

Brevin Knight collected 19 points and eight assists while rookie Emeka Okafor added 17 and 13 rebounds.

In their only meeting this season, the Suns got a huge performance from Stoudemire to record a 115-106 win over the Bobcats in Phoenix on December 10. Stoudemire collected 36 points and 15 rebounds and Marion and Quentin Richardson added 20 points apiece.

Knight scored 17 points to lead six players in double figures for Charlotte.
