CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls look to extend their winning streak to six games Saturday when they host the Boston Celtics.

Chicago, which already posted a seven-game winning streak in January, has won eight straight at the United Center, including a 101-93 triumph over the expansion Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday.

Rookie Andres Nocioni scored 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting and Jannero Pargo scored all 14 of his points in the fourth quarter. Rookie Luol Deng was the only starter to score in double figures, adding 12 points - all in the first quarter.

The Bulls, who shot 53 percent (41-of-77) from the floor in the victory, are just one win shy of matching their win total from the 2003-04 season with nearly half of the season remaining.

Kirk Hinrich has led Chicago during the winning streak, averaging 17 points and seven assists.

The Celtics snapped the Bulls' season-long seven-game winning streak with a 92-83 triumph at the FleetCenter on January 19. Paul Pierce scored 28 points for Boston, which has split a pair of games against Chicago this season.

The Celtics, who have lost two straight at the United Center, look to bounce back from a 128-119 loss against the Phoenix Suns. Pierce scored 34 points in the loss while rookie Tony Allen added 17 for Boston, which shot a blistering 62 percent from the floor in the second half.
