TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Toronto Raptors look to continue their
dominance at the Air Canada Centre when they conclude a
season-long five-game homestand Wednesday against the Boston
Celtics.
The Raptors, who have an 11-5 record at home this season, won
three of the first four games of the stretch, including a 109-87
victory against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.
Chris Bosh produced 21 points and a season-high 17 rebounds to
record his fourth straight double-double. The second-year pro,
who was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday,
has been dominant during the homestand, averaging 20.5 points
and 13 boards.
Morris Peterson scored 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting and Rafer
Alston and Matt Bonner each chipped in 15 as the Raptors shot 54
percent from the floor (45-of-84). Toronto is shooting 46
percent (153-of-351) during the homestand.
With a 91-89 victory over the Raptors at FleetCenter on December
3, the Celtics have won four straight games in the series. Mark
Blount paced Boston with a season-high 22 points and Raef
LaFrentz added a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Jalen Rose scored 18 points and Donyell Marshall added a
season-high 16 for Toronto.
The Celtics have a 2-6 record in their last eight trips to Air
Canada Centre but have gone 9-8 there overall.
Boston, which has lost six straight on the road, is looking to
build on a 119-101 triumph over the Orlando Magic. Paul Pierce
scored 18 points and Tony Allen added 16 off the bench as eight
players scored in double figures for the Celtics, who recorded a
season-high 30 assists.
