NEW YORK (Ticker) -- After losing fourth-quarter leads in each of their first two games at home, the Boston Celtics will try to reverse their fortunes when they visit the New York Knicks on Saturday.

The Celtics led by 12 points in the season opener vs. Philadelphia on Wednesday, and led by four against Indiana before dropping their fifth-straight game against the Pacers at the Fleet Center.

Despite scoring 35 points in the opener, Paul Pierce missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have tied the game. He followed that with a 15-point effort against the Pacers.

Ricky Davis scored 22 points in Friday's loss.

The Knicks fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 98-93, in their season opener Wednesday. Stephon Marbury collected 27 points and 10 assists against his former club, while his new backcourt mate, Jamal Crawford, added 22 in his Knicks debut.

New York will try to play better at home this season after going just 23-18 at Madison Square Garden last season.

The Knicks won three of the four games against the Celtics last year, splitting their two meetings in New York.
