CHICAGO, Oct. 25 (Ticker) -- Paced by a career night by guard Kirk Hinrich, the Chicago Bulls were able to rally from a sizeable deficit to record a 100-95 preseason victory over the Washington Wizards.

Hinrich scored a career-high 32 points, including 16 in the third quarter, and had five assists to help the Bulls improve to 3-1 at the United Center in the preseason.

In the fourth quarter, the 23-year-old converted a scoop shot with 5:38 remaining to cut the Bulls' deficit to 87-86. He added his fifth 3-pointer of the game 3:22 later to give Chicago a two-point advantage.

Argentinian free agent Andres Nocioni had 11 points for the Bulls, including a 3-pointer that tied the score at 89-89 with 3:40 left. He also drew a key charge by Washington's Juan Dixon 67 seconds later.

Gilbert Arenas scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half as Washington stormed out to a 54-41 halftime lead. The guard also had seven assists and seven steals.

The Wizards pushed the lead to 19 points in the third before tempers flared with 3:22 left as Larry Hughes pushed Hinrich into Luol Deng as his teammate attempted a layup.

As Hinrich engaged in a shouting match with Hughes, Brendan Haywood intervened and pushed Hinrich, igniting a shoving match that finished with Haywood and Chicago's Antonio Davis wrestling on the floor near mid-court. In the end, both Davis and Washington's Michael Ruffin were ejected, while Haywood and Hughes received technical fouls.
