"Our guys have had a history of people being out and (others) stepping up and playing," Kings coach Rick Adelman said. "We knew we had only nine guys, so we played very well."
"It gives us confidence in each other," Webber said. "This is our fifth year together and a lot of the guys have come up in the organization. We've built up trust, and that's what we have to do. We trust each other with the talent we have."
Jackson scored nine points in the third quarter as Sacramento extended its lead to 88-69. The Grizzlies got no closer than 15 in the final period.
"The last three quarters, we were much better," Adelman said. "We were rested and we wanted to keep coming at them. They played last night in Detroit."
"We hurt ourselves," Grizzlies coach Sidney Lowe said. "I thought for a period we played well. (But) we are not moving the ball like we should."
The Kings did not play well defensively, allowing the Grizzlies to shoot 47 percent (41-of-87), but Sacramento made half of its attempts (44-of-88).
"This is a team," Divac said. "There are no individuals here. If we get up and down, it does not really matter who is playing."
"On defense, you have to buckle down," Lowe said. "Our rotation was not good."
Pau Gasol had 20 points and rookie Gordan Giricek 14 for Memphis, which fell to 0-3.
"We are giving away so many easy baskets," Gasol said. "It's just tough. I don't want to be in the same position as last year. It can be tough mentally."
Shane Battier was held to four points and rookie Drew Gooden, who had 21 in Friday's loss to Detroit, was in constant foul trouble and finished with eight.
"It's tough," Gooden said. "I had four fouls in the first half. That was tough to deal with. It was a tough game for me tonight."
