HOUSTON, Oct. 24 (Ticker) -- Allen Iverson had 20 points and 14 assists and Eric Snow scored 19 points, including a pair of clutch free throws in the final seconds, as the Philadelphia 76ers posted a 93-89 preseason victory over the Houston Rockets on Thursday.

The 76ers were clinging to a 91-89 with six seconds left when Snow stole an inbounds pass from the Rockets. He was fouled with two seconds remaining and buried the ensuing free throws to seal the victory.

Aaron McKie gave Philadelphia the lead for good at 86-85 when Houston rookie Yao Ming was called for goaltending on his running layup with three minutes left. Sixers forward Keith Van Horn followed with a three-pointer and the Rockets did not get closer than a basket thereafter.

Monty Williams scored 12 points and Van Horn and Brian Skinner had 11 rebounds apiece for Philadelphia.

Steve Francis scored 28 points, Glen Rice added 15 and Yao 13 for Houston, which has lost three of four after winning its first three preseason games.
