OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 13 (Ticker) -- The Golden State Warriors must look forward to their annual visit from the Boston Celtics.

Antawn Jamison scored 27 points and rookie Jason Richardson recorded his first double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Warriors extended their home winning streak over the Celtics to six games with a 92-75 victory.

Boston has the third-best record in the Eastern Conference while Golden State had the third-worst record in the West. But the Celtics still can not win in Oakland, where they have dropped six straight games dating to February 15, 1995.

Boston had a 58-54 lead with 7:59 left in the third quarter before Golden State went on a 17-6 run to take the lead for good. Jamison and Bobby Sura scored six points apiece during the burst, which gave the Warriors a 71-64 leading entering the fourth quarter.

Boston's Vitaly Potapenko opened the final period with a three-point play, but Golden State rebounded with nine consecutive points and took a 79-67 lead on Richardson's layup with 6:33 to go.

Adonal Foyle and Sura each completed three-point plays during a 10-0 run late in the fourth quarter that gave the Warriors their largest lead, 92-72, with 71 seconds to go.

The Celtics made only 7-of-39 shots and scored just 28 points in the second half. They scored 11 points on 2-of-19 shooting in the final 12 minutes.

"We couldn't buy a basket when we were trying to make a comeback," Boston coach Jim O'Brien said. "We just couldn't knock down any open shots when we had them."

"We usually can make shots in the fourth," Celtics forward Antoine Walker said. "Tonight we just came up short. We had shots but they just didn't fall. You have nights like that when you just can't make anything fall."

Sura and rookie Troy Murphy scored 11 points apiece for the Warriors, who snapped a five-game losing streak and won for just the third time in 18 games. Former Celtic Danny Fortson collected eight points and 11 rebounds.

"We had a lot of good performances from a lot of people," Golden State coach Brian Winters said. "I thought Adonal Foyle and Bobby Sura off the bench played every well. Antawn and J.R. were solid the whole night. Everybody contributed."

Golden State shot just 38 percent (36-of-94) and missed 14 of 18 3-pointers. The Warriors held a 61-51 rebounding edge and collected 11 blocks, including four by Foyle and three from Erick Dampier.

Paul Pierce collected 30 points and 11 rebounds and Walker added 13 and 12, but combined to make just 16-of-48 shots as Boston fell to 1-1 on a season-high seven-game road trip.

The Celtics shot 31 percent (27-of-88) from the floor and were only 2-of-21 from 3-point range. Tony Battie was the only player to shoot at least 50 percent, making 3-of-4 shots for seven points.

"Our defensive intensity was solid the whole game," Winters said. "I was happy with that. That's really what won the game for us was our defense. I think it was one of our better defensive efforts."
