O'Neal collected 31 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in a dominant effort and Kobe Bryant scored 24 points as the Los Angeles Lakers continued their mastery of the Dallas Mavericks with a 101-94 victory.

"I'll talk to him on the plane about it," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "I didn't ask he how he felt. I asked him one time if he was tired. He said he felt good."
"I don't know yet," O'Neal said. "I'll have to check on it tomorrow. I'll see. Good feet or bad feet, I could still whip (Wilt) Chamberlain easy."
O'Neal did not look fatigued against the Mavericks, making 12-of-20 shots from the floor and 7-of-9 free throws.
The Mavericks scored 11 straight points over the third and fourth quarters and tied it, 76-76, on Wang Zhizhi's free throws with 9:45 remaining.
O'Neal responded with a dunk and two free throws to put the Lakers ahead for good. Bryant followed with a dunk before Zhizhi and Juwan Howard scored to bring Dallas within 82-40 with 5:49 to go.
But Rick Fox made a layup 19 seconds later and, after Dirk Nowitzki made 1-of-2 free throws for the Mavs, Bryant made a layup to make it 86-81 with 4:17 to go.
Both teams were held scoreless until Los Angeles' Derek Fisher nailed a 3-pointer with 2:38 remaining. Fisher scored nine of his 19 points in the final 2 1/2 minutes as the Lakers rolled to their fourth straight victory and completed a 4-1 road trip.
"We improved on this road trip," Bryant said. "We improved our rhythm and our offense in what we are trying to do. We also improved defensively. We feel good. We just came out here on the road and did what we wanted to do."
The Lakers have won 40 of their last 43 meetings with the Mavericks, including 26 of the last 27. They have won six straight against Dallas since April 18, 2000.
"Maybe we're not ready for prime time yet. maybe we're not ready to beat the Lakers," Dallas coach Don Nelson said. "But I'm not going back to the drawing board. I think that time will come. I hope it will come this year."
Bryant made just 11-of-25 shots but collected 10 rebounds and six assists. Robert Horry had six points, eight assists and 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, which held a 57-48 edge on the glass.
Steve Nash scored 20 points and Nowitzki finished with 19 and 15 rebounds for Dallas, which shot just 37 percent (32-of-85) and made only 4-of-28 3-pointers.
Howard collected 19 points and eight rebounds and Michael Finley had 11 and eight. Zhizhi fell one point shy of his career high with 12.
"Overall it wasn't a pretty game," Finley said. "They didn't shoot the ball particularly well and we definitely didn't. With all of that said we still were in position to win the ballgame down the stretch. We just continued to be unable to knock down shots."
Neither team led by more than five in the first half and Los Angeles had a 68-65 lead with 2:37 left in the third. The Lakers scored eight straight points to take a 76-65 cushion with 78 seconds to go, but Shawn Bradley made four free throws as the Mavs scored 11 straight points to tie it.
