DENVER, Jan. 18 (Ticker) -- Voshon Lenard scored 27 points off the bench, and Avery Johnson and Ryan Bowen added 18 apiece as the Denver Nuggets rallied for a 96-90 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics.

The three players helped trigger the comeback for the Nuggets as they combined to score 30 points during a 38-7 spurt in the second half.

The SuperSonics led 56-43 with just under eight minutes remaining in the third when Denver started its run. Johnson capped the burst with a basket that put Denver ahead 81-63 with 8:30 left in the game.

Bowen tallied 11 points over that stretch, Lenard added 10 and Johnson nine as the Nuggets snapped a three-game losing streak. But Denver has beaten Seattle four straight times at home.

Gary Payton had 25 points for the Sonics, who have dropped just four of their last 11 games overall.
