LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- After finally getting over the .500 mark for the first time in five years, the Los Angeles Clippers try to stay there on Wednesday when they host the Seattle SuperSonics.

Los Angeles used its athleticism and young legs to earn a 100-92 victory over Orlando on Monday night. Corey Maggette scored 21 points and Lamar Odom added 19 and 10 assists as the Clippers withstood a 47-point explosion by Tracy McGrady.

Jeff McInnis and Quentin Richardson each scored 16 points for Los Angeles, which is above .500 for the first time since it was 6-5 on November 21, 1996.

Los Angeles was last two games over .500 when it was 6-4 on November 19, 1995.

The Clippers have benefited from a favorable early schedule as they will be playing their league-high 17th home game. Los Angeles is 11-5 at home. The 11 home victories is tied with Sacramento and the Los Angeles Lakers for the most in the NBA.

Seattle is trying for its second victory at the Staples Center in as many nights after a surprising 104-93 victory here on Tuesday against the Lakers. Gary Payton scored 29 points and handed out 10 assists while Vin Baker scored 16 of his 27 points in the first half to end Los Angeles' 16-game home winning streak.

The SuperSonics used great defense to put away the Lakers by limiting the two-time defending champions to just six field goals in the fourth quarter. Seattle has won five of its last six road games against the Lakers.

Seattle's success in Los Angeles extends to its games with the Clippers. The SuperSonics have won seven straight road meetings with the Clippers and 15 out of 16 overall.

The Sonics swept all four meetings with the Clippers last season and are 8-1 all-time in the Staples Center, including a 4-0 mark against the Clippers.
