SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 24 (AP) -- Peja Stojakovic scored 22 points, upstaging the return of Jason Williams, as the Sacramento Kings defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 107-94 Wednesday night.

Williams, traded to the Grizzlies in the offseason for Mike Bibby, made just 5 of 18 shots, four of them 3-pointers. He finished with 15 points, nine assists and five turnovers in 35 minutes.

Williams received a standing ovation during introductions from the sellout crowd of 17,317.

Stojakovic scored 15 first-half points for the Kings, who never trailed and led 56-42 at halftime. Hedo Turkoglu had 18 points, Bobby Jackson scored 16 and Bibby added 10.

Vlade Divac finished with nine points, 12 rebounds and six assists for Sacramento.

Lorenzo Wright had 15 points and 15 rebounds as Memphis lost its third straight exhibition game. Bryant Notree scored 15 points, and James Collins had 13.

Grizzlies rookie Shane Battier fouled out with nine points and seven rebounds.

The Kings played without All-Star forward Chris Webber, who has a badly sprained ankle and could miss the first month of the regular season.
