Michael Dickerson sat out his second straight game because of a stomach virus, Nick Anderson missed his fourth game because of a strained right shoulder and Bryant Reeves was sidelined with back spasms.
Bryant, who has led the Lakers in scoring in five of their six preseason games, helped build a 68-45 halftime lead with 16 points, five assists and five rebounds.
Los Angeles outscored Memphis 10-0 over the final 3½ minutes of the first quarter to pull away by 17. They increased the margin to 27 points on a jumper by Walker that capped an 11-2 run with 1:08 left in the second quarter.
The Lakers trimmed their roster to 17 Tuesday by waiving center Peter Cornell, a 7-footer from nearby Loyola Marymount who averaged 0.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 9.0 minutes in his three preseason games.
