Obinna Ekezie had 17 points for the Clippers, who have scored at least 100 points in five straight games.

Orlando got 25 points from reserve Troy Hudson. Steven Hunter added 19.

The starters from both teams played sparingly in the contest that was originally scheduled for Mexico City. Six preseason games were scheduled for international sites but were canceled by the NBA after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Orlando guard Tracy McGrady missed his third consecutive game with a sore lower back. Forward Horace Grant was back in the starting lineup after missing one game with back spasms.

Clippers forward Corey Maggette sat out his second straight game due to a sprained left ankle.

Jeff McInnis had 10 points as the Clippers took a 24-15 lead after one quarter. Despite 16 points from Hunter in the second period, the Magic trailed 57-43 at intermission.

The Magic, keyed by Hudson's 3-pointer, opened the fourth quarter with a 12-2 run to make it 90-79 with 9:40 left. Hudson's layup with five minutes remaining brought Orlando within nine, 97-88.
