TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 14 (AP) -- Jason Terry scored 18 points to lead the Atlanta Hawks in a 101-81 preseason victory over the Orlando Magic on Sunday night.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim added 15 points for Atlanta (2-2), while Nazr Mohammed and Dion Glover had 11 and Hanno Mottola 10.

Orlando (2-1) led by 12 points in the first quarter, but a three-point play by Glover gave the Hawks a 40-38 lead midway through the second quarter.

Tracy McGrady scored 16 points in 11 minutes as the Magic took a 50-49 halftime lead. He didn't play in the second half.

Atlanta took a 76-70 lead into the fourth quarter and pulled away over the final 12 minutes against Orlando's reserves.

Darrell Armstrong and Grant Hill each scored 15 points for the Magic, who were outscored 32-18 at the free throw line.

Mohammed had 10 rebounds to help the Hawks outrebound Orlando 43-34.

Mike Miller led the Magic with 13 rebounds, but was 0-for-10 from the field and finished with four points.
