each scored 18 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 98-85 exhibition victory Saturday night over the Detroit Pistons.
added 17 points, and Steve Francis
had 12 for the Rockets.
Houston led 69-64 going into the fourth quarter and expanded the lead to 78-64 with a 9-0 run.
Detroit cut the margin to 89-85 on a three-point shot by Chucky Atkins
with 2:38 left, but the Rockets sealed the victory by scoring the final nine points.
Detroit was led by Jon Barry
with 16 points. Jerry Stackhouse
had 14, Victor Alexander
added 12 and Zeliko Rebraca
Detroit led 40-37 at the half, but Houston outscored the Pistons 32-24 in the third period.
Francis had eight points and five assists in the third quarter.
