BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 9 (AP) -- Gerald Wallace
scored 17 points and Mike Bibby
added 15 to lead Sacramento to a 101-95 win over Utah on Tuesday night as both teams opened the exhibition season.
Bibby scored five points and Wallace had four during a four-minute stretch in the third quarter as the Kings outscored the Jazz 13-4 to take a 56-47 lead with 5:04 remaining in the period.
Reserve guard Rusty LaRue
, who played for the Idaho Stampede in the CBA, led the Jazz with 16 points, all in the second half.
LaRue, who did not play in the first half, hit all six of his field-goal attempts, including two 3-pointers. Scot Pollard
